Despite its low stance appearance, the roof is actually higher than before thus improved passenger space. The 2018 Audi A6 models are either front-wheel or all-wheel-drive. You can also choose between a supercharged V-6 and a turbocharged four-cylinder gas engine. The supercharged 3.0-liter V6 model has a 340 horsepower and available on the Prestige and Premium Plus trims. The model’s front wheel drive models feature a seven-speed automatic transmission. The all-wheel-drive version features an eight-speed automatic transmission system which gives the vehicle a firm hold and the ability to swap gears with ease. The 2018 Audi A6’s fuel efficiency is also splendid with an EPA rating of 34 MPG on the highway and 25 MPG in the city, which results in a combined rating of 28 MPG. The model features an MMI navigation system along with keyless entry and ignition.
Regarding safety, the model has an automatic emergency braking system and adaptive cruise control mechanism which are a standard on all trims. Automatic high-beam headlamps are available on the Prestige and Premium Plus trim levels for an additional $2,500. For a similar amount, the higher trim levels can be fitted with a night vision system. The system uses an infrared camera to scan the road ahead and project the images on a screen. The model also has an Electronic Stability Control (ESC) feature which detects a loss of traction and responds by braking to avoid excessive body motion.
The 2018 Audi A6 has an MSRP of $50,675 including destination charges. That’s around $2,000 more than last year’s model, but with the more content the 2018 model carries, the price is well worth it. The base trim is now being sold at around $52,900, with the 3.0-liter V6 supercharged model begins at $57,500. You could advance to the Prestige trim which costs around $61,400. However, you will be foregoing this discount should you choose to purchase your 2018 Audi A6 through the Audi Financial services. The manufacturers were offering a $3,000 finance bonus if you chose the latter option and bought your vehicle in September.
