Bring back many of the qualities that drivers have come to love about the Nissan Rogue, the 2019 Rogue will offer a few updates that are sure to excite drivers who’ve been waiting for the perfect SUV to come along. Offering practicality, affordability and fun all-in-one, the Nissan Rogue has found a ton of success on the auto market. Available in November of 2018, the Nissan Rogue will return with a few interesting changes. While many were hoping for a complete redesign, there hasn’t really been a need for any significant change at this time. However, for those really looking for something different, there will be a new Special Edition package offered for the S trim. The package will add features like 17-inch alloy wheels, chrome door handles, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, privacy glass, and roof rails among other features. Other trims like the SV trim will now offer the available ProPilot semi-autonomous driving system, where previously only the top of the line SL trim offered that feature. Prices for the 2019 Nissan Rogue may range from $25K to $33K depending on the trim and optional packages you choose.

As for under the hood, there have been no reports of any significant changes to the powertrain. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine featured in the 2018 Rogue generates 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque which is more than satisfying, providing strong acceleration and a great fuel economy for the class. However, there have been rumors, but no official reports that the 2.5-liter engine may be updated, offering similar specs to that of the Nissan Altima coming out in 2019. This would mean that the Rogue could generate as much as 188 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque – but that’s a big IF. Regardless, most drivers aren’t likely to find the new Rogue disappointing when it comes to performance.

One of the best things about the Rogue is how generous Nissan is with standard features. The 2018 Nissan Rogue offered a standard 7-inch display infotainment system with smartphone integration, Bluetooth, a four-speaker audio system, and satellite radio. It also came with driver assistance features like blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross traffic alert and automatic emergency braking. Expect most, if not all of these features to return in the 2019 model. The vehicle also offers a spacious cabin and cargo area which should also carry over into the 2019 model. With the seats folded down, the 2018 Nissan Rogue can provide up to 70 cubic feet of space. Check out the 2019 Nissan Rogue once it arrives in dealerships this November.
