To recharge, you'll need to allow for up to 13 hours plugged into a 220-volt home charger. But if you have a 100 kW DC charger, you can recharge up to 80% in as little as an hour. The vehicle also offers standard all-wheel-drive and adaptive air suspension. The interior includes synthetic leather seating for five passengers, a dual-display infotainment system, a premium sound system, smartphone integration, dual-zone climate control and a panoramic sunroof among many other features. Safety features like forward collision warning, parking assist, lane keeping assist and automatic emergency braking are all included as well. Last but not least, you'll have up to 51 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded.
The 2020 Audi E-Tron is an all-new model from the top-tier luxury automaker. It utilizes state of-the-art tech and quality craftsmanship to deliver one exquisite luxury SUV. A pair of electric motors generate 355 horsepower but when the vehicle is shifted into boost mode, the E-Tron outputs about 402 horsepower. Its single-speed transmission is standard. While it can't go as far as the I-Pace, the 204-mile range is nothing to scoff at. With a 120-volt outlet, the E-Tron can take up to 80 hours but with a 240-volt outlet, it will only take 9 hours. When using a public 150 kW charger you can recharge the battery up to 80% in 30 minutes. Features include the Audi Virtual Cockpit and the MMI infotainment system with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, smartphone integration features, a Bang & Olufsen premium stereo, and navigation system. Like the I-Pace, the E-Tron comes with a suite of safety features. Leather-upholstered seats allow for up to five passengers. As for cargo space, the vehicle offers up to 57 cubic feet. The 2020 Volvo XC40 Recharge is not yet available but it's the first electric SUV from Volvo and its coming soon. The SUV's motors will generate up to 402 horsepower, just like the E-Tron, and it can recharge up to 80% in less than 40 minutes. Also similar to the E-Tron, the XC40 Recharge will have arrange over 200 miles. Accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds, expect strong acceleration on the highway. Access Google Maps, Google Assistant and Google Play Store from the infotainment system. An autonomous driving system and plenty of other features are expected for its release in 2020, priced at under $50K.
