Following the updates to the 2018 model, there are not a lot of changes to the 2019 Buick Enclave. It is still a great SUV for families and other consumers that require a roomy interior and want an enjoyable riding experience. Front-wheel is drive comes standard, and if you want an all-wheel-drive option you will need to upgrade, as it is available at each trim level except for the base level. The four packages are Preferred, Essence, Premium, and Avenir. This is a great vehicle for families that want the room of a minivan in a sportier body. The Enclave, similar to most Buicks, offers a smooth and quiet ride that handles the road well.

There is third-row seating available, and the interior cabin has plenty of room for both passengers and cargo. The one drawback for the Enclave is its low-end-of-the-range gas mileage that averages just over 20mph in the standard front-wheel-drive models. Another drawback is that none of the advanced safety features are included in the base models, necessitating an upgrade to one of the higher trim packages to get those features.

The engines do offer shifting pedals for its 9-speed gearbox that can give drivers a near-manual driving experience. In addition to ample passenger space, the Enclave provides 97.6 cubic feet of cargo space with both the second and third row of seating folded, which rivals most minivans. There is also the added bonus of an additional 3.1 cubic feet of storage located in the well below the floor. Towing capacity is at 1,500 pounds standard, and there is also an optional towing package that will provide 5,000 pounds of capacity if you are looking to take along your small boat or camper. The Enclave is a great option for active families on the go who are looking for a vehicle whose sporty profile belies its interior room and overall size.

Enclave models have a rear five-link and front strut suspension system along with power steering. In the 2018 redesign changes were made to the height of the vehicle in order to decrease wafting and leaning, which is also helped by the models 4,300 overall weight level. There are also the now-basic safety features such as rear seat reminders, backup cameras, multiple airbags, collision alerts, and parking sensors. Optional safety features include auto-braking, lane-departure alerts, and panoramic camera systems. Standard features include keyless ignition and entry, heated seats, and LED headlights. The Enclave enjoys a five-star safety rating and is a great SUV that rides like a much smaller vehicle.

If you are looking for an affordable family-sized crossover, the 2019 Buick Enclave may not be the car for you with its $40,000 entry-level price. The full-deal trim package and options at the Avenir level will set you back $60,000 which is definitely in the luxury range. One thing worth noting is that the Avenir trim package includes just about any and all feature and enhancement that GM currently offers. Take a look at the 2019 Buick Enclave if you need a family vehicle that is still fun to drive!
